WINTER FESTIVALS EXTRAVAGANSA! Welcome to winter! That’s right, February is the heart of winter. If you reside in the north, February can be the coldest, harshest, and snowiest month of the year. If you’re in a warmer climate, well good for you, sit back and have a boat drink! Still, we don’t want to bash February too badly, after all, there are some significant aspects to the month. For example, here in the United States, on or about February 18th, Pitchers and Catchers will be reporting to Major League Baseball training camps. If you’re a baseball fan (as we are) this news alone makes you feel the warmth of Spring rapidly approaching! (Look for the list of our “Top Nine Favorite Baseball Movies” on or about February 18th.) For now, as an alternative to hiding indoors away from the cold, we suggest you embrace February! It's a month for festivals, and they are happening all over the country, and all over the globe!
