MUSIC FROM THE MOVIES When we first created huflixPrime, it was just a way to help some friends decide what movie to watch on the weekend without getting into a marital spat. We thought we were simply having some fun. Since that time, we've found that our purpose is much greater than that. We're pleased to share "Music From The Movies" with you.
What is film? Film is more than just a means of entertainment for passing the time. A great movie can move you, touch your soul and even bring a grown-up to tears. It's not just the film or the story within that can do these things; it's key moments of cinematography. Moments captured forever resonating within us, creating a personal moment of contentment. We believe those moments are precisely what a particular film's creator hopes to achieve. You know those moments, there are many: Paul Newman riding the bicycle in "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid," or Kate Bosworth catching the perfect wave in "Blue Crush." For us, it's Domhnall Gleeson explaining life and happiness at the end of "About Time." But, again, it's not just the story or actor that creates such moments. It's a little bit of everything, and more often than not, music is a particular part of that experience.
How often have you found yourself watching a great film or TV show and wondering, "who sings that song?" These days, finding out is easy; if you've got your iPhone or Android handy, you can fire up your "Shazam" app, and bam! You've got your answer. But, unfortunately, you don't always have enough time to do that! So we're going to help you out. With our "Music From The Movies" section, we'll post links to the soundtracks for some of the excellent films we recommend. So find your moment, choose your song, add it to your favorite playlist and enjoy! No thanks necessary; as always, we're just here to help. We wish you happy viewing and happy listening!
