THE J.J. ABRAMS STAR TREK REBOOT
|
Alright, we're going to go ahead and generate a whole new, and potentially endless stream of hate mail right here by telling you that Chris Pine is now our favorite "Kirk". Maybe we can soften the blow by saying that William Shatner is the original and best Kirk? However, if asked who our particular favorite is, here at huflixPrime, we'll say it's Chris Pine.
We may need to hire security because THE INTERNET IS AN ANGRY PLACE! We’re not kidding! You wouldn't believe just how easy it is to upset people! Crazy! Just crazy! This planet could really use a therapist! For example: just the other day we were in a chat about chicken recipes, and all we did was ask if...(sorry, we got off on a tangent there). Anyhow, Star Trek fans should really calm down. The way we look at it, the fans should take into consideration that the "Kirk" character has been reimagined and updated for a new generation of fans. It's like giving the "Kirk" character the same status as the "James Bond" or "Batman" characters! (OMG! We just compared "Kirk" to "James Bond" and "Batman!" What the hell is wrong with us?) Seriously though, Star Trek fans should be happy and thrilled that they now have something new to debate: "Who would make the next best Kirk?" Feel free to email us your suggestions along with your hate mail! (Although most people seem perfectly comfortable simply telling us where we can go and/or what we can do with ourselves.) Oh, and by the way, if you think you're angry now, just wait until we get started on the new "Planet of The Apes" films! We're going to need to leave the country after you read that! |
