"Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope" (1977 Lucasfilm) Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Alec Guinness, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker, Peter Mayhew.  Available on Amazon Prime Video or Apple TV.
  • Episode VI is the beginning of the most epic sci-fi adventure our world has known. For you new kids, find out how it all started by watching the films in the correct order. (We’re not even going to mention those three films released between 1999 and 2002, and you know why! We only recommend the works we like) Star Wars: Episode IV “A New Hope” is how it all started.  Meet Luke, Leia, Han, Chewbacca, C-3PO, and R2-D2 for the first time! A must see for all sci-fi fans.

"Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back" (1980 Lucasfilm) Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Alec Guinness, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker, Peter Mayhew and Billy Dee Williams.  Available on Amazon Prime Video or Apple TV.
  • For many fans, this is their favorite of the Star Wars films.  “Empire” as it is often referred to by fans, is the perfect sequel.  It picks up shortly after the end of the first film, starts with an epic battle and takes you on a wild chase across the galaxy.  While the film ends on a down note, it sets viewers up for the grand final of the original trilogy.

"Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi” (1983 Lucasfilm) Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Alec Guinness, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker, Peter Mayhew and Billy Dee Williams.  Available on Amazon Prime Video or Apple TV.
  • Another great film that starts with a bang, a daring rescue mission! The second half of the film is a cinematic masterpiece with what would be the final battle to free the galaxy from the grips of the tyrannical emperor.  With the modern Sequels, we know that battle rages on!  We can all agree that the Ewoks were a bit much, but if you were a child of the 1980s you may admit that you did find them amusing at first!

"Star Wars: Episode VII “The Force Awakens” (2015 Lucasfilm) Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew. Available on Amazon Prime Video or Apple TV.
  • This fourth film in the series (yes, that’s what we’re calling it, and you know why!) was such a treat.  We all had our doubts about a new Star Wars film, but producer J.J. Abrams and the many others involved in bringing Episode VII to the screen couldn’t have done it better! The film had the same flow as the original three films and introduced new characters that we loved instantly.  Check it out if you haven’t seen it yet!

"Star Wars: Episode VIII “The Last Jedi” (2017 Lucasfilm) Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Anthony Daniels. Available on Amazon Prime Video or Apple TV. Also currently available on Netflix.
  • We didn’t think J.J. Abrams would be able to top “The Force Awakens” but wow did he ever!  What a tremendously excellent installment in the Star Wars saga! It starts off with the same feel as “Empire” a dramatic escape from a hidden rebel base, then takes you on another chase across the galaxy all leading up to a dramatic finish that will leave you desperate to see the next film, “Star  Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” due on December 20, 2019.
