  • Firefly is one of those rare shows that was incredibly awesome and yet so tragically canceled after its first and only season. There's nothing we can say about this show to do it justice other than IT'S SO GOOD!  If you were a fan of the "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" (1996-2003) and "Angel" (1999-2004) TV Series, we don't need to tell you anything. While not related by anything other than the show's creator, character actors from both series show up all over "Firefly," but spotting them is just some side fun. The show itself has the same comic wit, enthralling sub-plots, drama, action, and charm of both "Buffy" and "Angel" So if you're a Sci-Fi fan and haven't seen "Firefly," don't tell any of the other Sci-Fi fans because they'll only make fun of you! Just watch it — there are only 14 episodes and a movie, for crying out loud! Go watch it now! Seriously what's wrong with you? Go!

We also understand that people can get a "wee bit" crazy out there on the inter-webs, and we honestly want to give "Firefly" the justice and respect the series deserves. We're not a "review" site, we make recommendations of things we like, and we LOVE "Firefly." If things progress, we hope to have a separate forum right here for you to lament, scream, shout, or say whatever you feel needs to be said about "Firefly." We, too, have a deep love for this show, and we also feel your pain.
