FUN IDEA FOR JANUARY 2019 by  huflixPrime Editors

OATMEAL OR SOUP?
Hey, Happy New Year! Aren’t you glad the holidays are over? We are too!  You know what the worst thing is? When someone decides to throw their Holiday party AFTER the holidays are over! Like… “we were too BUSY during the holidays to have our party DURING the holidays so we’re having it on January 5th, be sure to show up!”  Huh? You know what we say to those people? We’ll give you one hint, it rhymes with “duck stew!”
Now, if you are in-fact suffering from “Holiday Separation Anxiety” you could always check out last month’s BONUS FUN IDEA for which we suggested you take a DAY TRIP TO NEW YORK CITY (assuming you’re in the area of course, if not please just be done with the holidays and go about your business! It’s over ok?)
Seriously, after January 1st, the holidays ARE OVER! That’s it! We’re out, and everyone else should be too! It’s a chance for a new year, a fresh start, a new beginning!  So, why not celebrate the new year with a nice bowl of oatmeal for breakfast, and a nice bowl of soup for lunch!  We’re not kidding, January is both “National Oatmeal Month” and “National Soup Month”!  Our research seagull Fred has confirmed it! You’ll feel warm and happy enjoying a  tasty bowl of soup while binge watching “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” on Netflix (which is AWESOME by the way)!
Lastly, and this is totally unrelated to oatmeal and soup, get yourself a nice container for your various TV remotes (like that one, over there on the right)!  Getting into the habit of putting the remotes back in their container when you are done using them saves you hours of searching for remotes annually!  No joke! Seagull Fred also tells us that the average TV viewer spends as much as 4.5 hours per week searching for TV remotes!  That’s almost 10 days a year! Fred also mentioned that these numbers come from a questionable study conducted five years ago in the UK.  Fred has not conducted his own study, but hypothesizes that the actual amount of time spent looking for the remote is closer to 15 minutes per week, which translates to about 13 hours annually.  Seriously though, 13 hours is a lot of potential binge watching time! So get yourself a remote caddy today! See more here.
